On-site collage (drawing and photography), material encounters, shadow, ink on paper /105x 148 mm* 4 pieces De Hoge Veluwe National Park, NL/2020
Shadows were casted by the sun that was hiding behind giant trees. Tree's cortex was picked from the ground as well as with little stones, pine needles and many more discoveries. The forest was hearing our footsteps and we were sensing her; therefore there was a moment of  recognition in which both of us were crossing each other's path. The collages are a tangible proof of that.

"A COLLAGE CAN BE COMPARED TO HOW RELATIONSHIPS WORK; THE RELATIONSHIP WITH NATURE, WITH THE ONE WE LOVE.
ESSENTIALLY THE OTHER.
IT MUST BE TAKEN APART AND DISTORTED INTO NEW FORMS"
“ What is an archive? Well, I could actually say that it is the question it self.
What happens if I define archive as a bunch of methods to record a place, a story, a time, a person?

That “defining” is the very antagonist of “becoming”, a conscious attitude that orders the world.
I’m interested instead into an aesthetic that frees it self from order.

So the initial question is the one that defines the path I take; a path made of unknown encounters. When we love a place we are very keen on documenting it.
