One Night I Stepped Over A Fig
nstallation and performance, mixed material, video projection, dimension variable / Netherlands / 2019 From the installation and ‘performative lecture’, I displayed multilayers of the encountering with a fig, from storytelling, cultural histories with different times and spaces, which pointed into personal or collective memories. Guests are invited to smell the hot fig tea, taste a dried fig with me, and listen to the pronunciation of different languages of the fig.
